What is PickerEngine?
PickerEngine is a free, web-based platform that lets you create and spin interactive
decision wheels. With over 50 pre-built wheels and full customization options, it's
perfect for making random choices, playing games, teaching, or just having fun.

Is PickerEngine completely free?
Yes! PickerEngine is 100% free to use. There are no hidden fees, premium tiers, or
paywalls. All 50+ pre-built wheels and customization features are available to
everyone at no cost.

Do I need to create an account?
No account is required! PickerEngine works entirely in your browser. You can start
spinning immediately without signing up, logging in, or providing any personal
information. Your privacy is our priority.

Does PickerEngine work on mobile devices?
Absolutely! PickerEngine is fully responsive and works on smartphones, tablets, and
desktop computers. The interface adapts to any screen size, so you can spin wheels
on the go.

How do I use a wheel?
Simply pick a wheel from our collection, add your own items if you want to customize
it, and click the "SPIN" button in the center. The wheel will rotate
and land on a random item. It's that easy!

Can I customize the wheels?
Yes! Every wheel allows you to add, edit, or remove items. You can customize emojis,
names, categories, and even colors on some wheels. Just open any tool and look for
the management section to start customizing.

How many items can I add to a wheel?
You can add up to 1,000 items to a single wheel. However, for the
best visual experience and readability, we recommend keeping it under 100 items
so labels remain visible on the wheel.

Can I save my custom lists?
Your custom lists are stored in your browser's local storage while you're on the page.
If you refresh or navigate away, the default list will return. We're working on a
save-to-account feature for the future!
Usage
How do I remove an item from a wheel?
Each item appears as a tag. Simply click the ✕ button on the tag
to remove it. You can also click the ✏️ button to edit an existing
item's name, emoji, or category.

Is the wheel truly random?
Yes! PickerEngine uses a cryptographically secure random number generator to ensure
every spin is completely random and fair. Every slice on the wheel has an exactly
equal mathematical probability of being chosen.

What should I do if I encounter a bug?

Include as much detail as possible (browser, device, steps to reproduce) and we'll
look into it right away.

Which browsers are supported?
PickerEngine works on all modern browsers including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox,
Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Opera. We recommend using the latest version of
your preferred browser for the best experience.

Does PickerEngine work offline?
PickerEngine requires an internet connection to load the page and fonts. Once loaded,
most functionality works in your browser. However, for the best experience, we
recommend staying connected.

Your data is stored locally in your browser. We do not store any personal information
on our servers. Your custom lists and spin history never leave your device.

Can I add custom emojis to my wheel?
Yes! When adding or editing items, you can enter any emoji. The wheel will display
your chosen emoji on the slice and in the result. Most wheels also let you customize
colors for each item.

Can I categorize items on the wheel?
Yes! Many of our wheels (like Animal Picker, Flower Picker, and Icebreaker Questions)
allow you to add categories to your items. This helps organize your list and adds
context to each option.

How do I reset a wheel to its default state?
To reset a wheel, simply refresh the page. All custom items and spin history will be
cleared. If you want to keep your custom items but reset the spin counters, use the
"Reset Stats" button located below the wheel.
